Stakeholder Guernsey Touch
Formed in 2004, Guernsey Touch is the governing body of touch in Guernsey. The first summer league took place in 2005 and since then the sport has grown year on year. In 2010, 400 players took part in the summer league across mixed, mens and ladies divisions.
Each year Guernsey Touch takes teams to international competitions to represent the island and is currently ranked sixth in Europe. The annual inter-insular against Jersey takes place in August.
Guernsey Touch runs a summer league from May until August, a club tournament with visiting teams from Jersey, the UK and Europe in July, an autumn league in September and October and organises training and social games over the winter months.
Touch is a hugely popular sport which is open to men and women from 16-60 and can be played by all abilities. It is a fantastic sport for friends, colleagues and families and is a great way of meeting new people.
