OFFICIALLY OPENED

Youngsters of all ages and sponsors enjoyed an evening of fun playing football and basketball to mark the official opening of the ball park and youth shelter on 29th March 2010. 

A total of £40,000 was raised to finance the construction, purchase of equipment and installation - all thanks to the generosity of a group of local companies and the Guernsey Sports Commission; ABM Architects, Barclays Wealth, Bob Froome & Sons, The Association of Guernsey Charities (responsible for awarding Channel Island Lottery funds), FRM Charitable Trust, Help a Guernsey Child, RG Falla Ltd, Ronez and the Guernsey Charities Trust. 

The new facilities will also host one of the three street sport sessions that the GSC are running around Guernsey for 11-18 year olds.
